RBL Bank appoints Pankaj Sharma as Chief Operations Officer

RBL Bank, one of India’s fastest growing private sector banks, today announced the appointment of Pankaj Sharma as Chief Operations Officer. Pankaj will oversee  RBL Bank’s operations and corporate services function.

A seasoned banker, Pankaj brings vast experience spanning over two decades. He joins RBL Bank from Axis Bank, where he was heading the Retail Operations while running Process Quality, Change Management and lean Six Sigma initiatives across the bank. Pankaj has also spearheaded the ATM Channel, Phone Banking and Branch Automation &Digital Initiatives at Axis Bank. He previously held a number of executive positions with GE Countrywide, ICICI Bank and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co.

Pankaj is a Certified Master Black Belt and holds MBA from Symbiosis, Pune and Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies from University of Delhi.
