Gateway Distriparks Limited announces Q3FY 19 results

During the third quarter ended December 31 2018, GDL group revenue increased by 4.1% to Rs. 354.22crores as against Rs. 340.24 crores during the corresponding quarter ended December 31 2017. EBITDA was recorded at Rs. 71.53 crores as against Rs. 74.31 crores during the corresponding quarter, and PAT before minority interest was recorded at Rs. 24.23 crores as against Rs. 28.12 crores during the corresponding quarter.

GatewayRail revenue for the quarter ended December 31st 2018, was recorded at Rs. 191.86 crores as against Rs. 193.40 crores during the corresponding quarter ended December 31 2017. While EBITDA was Rs. 35.86 crores as against Rs. 36.69 crores, PAT was recorded at Rs. 16.20 crores as against Rs. 17.55crores in the corresponding quarter.

Snowman Logistics recorded a revenue of Rs. 59.34 crores during the third quarter ended December 31 2018 as against Rs. 49.81 crores during the corresponding quarter ended December 31 2017, an increase of 19%. While EBITDA increased by 10 % to Rs. 14.39 crores as compared to Rs. 13.11 crores during the corresponding quarter, PAT increased to Rs. 2.35 crores as against Rs. 0.27 crores during the corresponding quarter, an increase of 774% in profit.


Mr. Prem Kishan Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, commented, “While there was a slight decline in the month of November, the volumes have already increased in December and we expect the trend to continue. In view of the recent announcement made by the government, CFS are expected to play a more vital role for handling EXIM containers at the port and we are seeing growth in the fourth terminal volumes at Nhava Sheva as well. In the Rail business, while the congestion on the North-West corridor of Indian Railway network continues, the company has been increasing its capacity through leasing additional rakes to address both additional capacity requirement and increase in demand. In Snowman Logistics, the capacity utilization has been steadily increasing and by successfully replacing low-yield cargo with high-yield cargo, the positive trend continues.”

9 Months (Apr-Dec) FY 19 Vs 9 Months (Apr-Dec) FY 18 :

Revenue from operations went up from Rs 1,001 Cr. to Rs 1,112 Cr. EBITDA increased from Rs 213.1 Cr. to Rs 257.2 Cr.

Profit Before Tax increased from Rs 85.4 Cr. to Rs 130 Cr.

Profit After Tax (Before Minority Interest) was up from Rs 69.4 Cr. to Rs 102.9 Cr.
